Self Feeders: Not Always A Convenience06-Feb-2008
I decided to invest a self feeder for my cat. Unlike other cats I have had she likes to move her bowls around.
She
did this to both her water bowl and food bowl. Has to position the bowl
just right before she drinks and eats. Water gets spilled everywhere.
When
I go out of town or have extended appointments, I leave her at the
Kitty Hilton. I do not want to worry if (Heaven forbid) there is a fire
or natural disaster.
I decided to purchase the self feeders
because of this cats habits. Very hard for a cat to move bowls if there
is a tank on top.
Well this cat decided she did not like her
food. So she decided to dig at her food until something better came
out. Atleast that is what she thought.
Instead of getting her
prize she made a big mess for me. By day 3 of cleaning up this mess and
my vaccum getting clogged I decided to not use this convenient self
feeder.
For now on she is getting her normal bowl of food. |
